This platform is an independent networking tool built to help attendees of the ICAI AI Innovation Summit 2026 (#AIS2026) connect with each other. The Summit takes place on June 26-27, 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. For any privacy queries, contact us at [email protected].

2. Information We Collect

When you register or use this platform, we collect:

• Account information: Name, email address, mobile number, and Google account data (if you sign in with Google)
• Professional profile: Designation, company, city, state, specialisations, years of experience, LinkedIn and social links, AI projects, and networking goals
• Profile photo: Uploaded by you or fetched from your Google account (with your consent)
• Technical data: IP address, device type, browser, operating system, and approximate location (city/state) captured at sign-up and login for security purposes
• Activity: Profile views, connection requests, and interactions on the platform

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and display your public networking profile at the Summit
• To match you with other attendees based on professional interests and specialisations
• To send you event-related communications (welcome email, profile approval, connection notifications)
• To allow other attendees to find, view, and connect with you
• To detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive usage
• To generate anonymised statistics about attendee demographics

4. Profile Visibility

Your profile is not visible publicly until an administrator approves it. Once approved, your name, professional details, specialisations, city, and photo are visible to all registered users of the platform. You may request to hide your profile at any time by contacting support.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Other attendees: your public profile is visible to registered users of the platform
• Firebase (Google): for authentication services
• Resend: for transactional email delivery

6. Data Retention

Your profile and data are retained for the duration of the Summit and for a reasonable period after (up to 12 months) for record-keeping purposes. You may request deletion at any time by emailing [email protected].

7. Cookies and Local Storage

This platform uses browser localStorage to remember your theme preference (light/dark) and PWA installation state. No third-party advertising cookies are used.

8. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are managed entirely by Firebase Authentication and we never store your password. Profile photos are stored securely on our server.

9. Your Rights

10. Changes to This Policy
